About Us
Just minutes from Nouméa’s most sought-after bays, nestled in the southern districts, lies Le Nid de l’Océanite. You’ll feel right at home in this comfortable 30 m² studio with a unique design inspired by New Caledonia. Completely renovated, it features a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, and a sleeping area (with a high-quality queen-size bed for a restful night’s sleep) that also includes a desk.
On the furnished terrace, enjoy an aperitif with your deer skewers cooked on the plancha while playing a board game. Relax — everything is ready for your stay: welcome kit, beach kit, board games, bike rentals, washer and dryer, and a guest guide so you don’t miss anything in the capital.

To keep your clothes spotless, you have your own laundry area with a washing machine and dryer! An iron and ironing board are also provided.
Finally, to stay cool, you’ll find both a ceiling fan (to reduce your carbon footprint) and air conditioning.

Bed linen and towels are included in the rental price, with fresh replacements provided every 7 days.

Because we know that when children are happy, parents are too, we can provide everything they might need on request: a travel cot or co-sleeper, high chair, baby bath, walker kit (toilet seat reducer and step stool), baby carrier and/or stroller, car seat, and booster seat.

Self check-in from 2:00 PM, available 24/7! All necessary information (address, lock code, Wi-Fi code) will be sent to you before your stay. Depending on your arrival time, we’ll meet you either upon check-in or the following day.

We can also arrange, for an additional fee: airport transfers, car rental, mobile internet with a pocket Wi-Fi device, and a local tourist SIM card.

Good to Know
The apartment is part of a villa complex with four units. Each apartment has its own private, secure entrance.
All our apartments are equipped with a safe, smoke and CO₂ detectors, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit.
Please note that free parking is available on the street. There is no parking within the apartment complex.
Airbnb insurance and short-term rental home insurance do not cover break-in thefts. We therefore recommend that all guests check with their home insurance provider and add a “Holiday Rental Guarantee” (Garantie Villégiature) clause if needed.
As you can see, we’ve thought of everything to ensure you have an exceptional stay in New Caledonia !
Your Departure
Check-out time: 11:00 AM. A late check-out may be arranged upon request, subject to availability.
The apartment must be left in the same clean condition as on your arrival. The cleaning fee covers inspection of the apartment (and a deep clean when regular upkeep is no longer sufficient) as well as restocking between stays.

Les Hauteurs de la Baie is located in a very quiet neighborhood. Out of respect for your neighbors, please keep noise to a minimum at all times, especially between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM (siesta time) and after 9:00 PM. Proper attire is required throughout your stay.

Free street parking is available nearby.

Use the air conditioning only with windows and doors closed. Prefer the ceiling fans — the planet will thank you!

The apartment must be left in the same clean and tidy condition as when you arrived.

Cancellation Policy
Flexible Rate : For stays under 30 nights, a full refund is available up to 48 hours before arrival.
Flexible Rate (Long Stays) : For stays over 30 nights, a full refund is available up to 5 days before arrival.
Non-Refundable Rate : A refund is available only if the booking is canceled within 24 hours of reservation. After 24 hours, no refund will be issued.
Looking for action ?
Head to Anse Vata Bay during the day to rent your water sports gear — windsurfing, stand-up paddle, funboard, kite surfing, and more — then enjoy Baie des Citrons at night with its bars and nightclubs!
Younger visitors will also have plenty to do, with nearby parks (Brunelet, 5 minutes away, and Orphelinat, 20 minutes on foot) and swimming pools (CNC, 13 minutes away, and Ouen Toro, 30 minutes on foot).
In the mood for shopping ?
The shopping centers — Port Plaisance, Michel-Ange, and La Promenade — with their supermarkets, bakeries, and stores, will soon hold no secrets for you!
To get around, bus stops are located on both sides of the apartment, and car rental agencies are just 10 minutes from your door. We can also rent you electric bikes.
Extra luggage or want to share a piece of “the Rock” with your friends ?
To stamp and send your postcards or parcels, head to the Receiving post office !
Looking for peace and quiet ?
Relax in the shade at Baie des Citrons for a swim or some sunbathing (your beach gear is stored in the dedicated closet), or head to Anse Vata to catch the boat for a day trip to Duck Island !
On rainy days, marvel at the marine life in the aquarium, and when the sun is out, hike to the top of Ouen Toro for breathtaking views !
